Hmm..the songs that I did for the last two cover fights don't appear to be in the archive:

Naked Philosophy covers Glennny's A Map for Your Wall
Naked Philosophy cover's LMNOP's Am I Forgiven?

Actually, now that I'm looking closer, it doesn't look like any of the 2010 Cover Fight songs are in there...

Another update to the hxaro archive - new htm files and 24 new songs (mostly from 2010 coverfight). hxari-pdv.txt datafile also updated, and I included the h.pl script I use to create the .htm files from the data. Data cleanup, like differences in capitalization or spelling.

Post here if you see any problems, have any songs that should be in here, etc. Thanks!

Since the nur ein songs are now on songfight.net, there may be some nur ein originals that could be included in the "original versions" here - haven't had time to look for those. Feel free to point them out to me if you spot any...

Do you want to include the "Cover Yourself" coverfight? Just noticed e.g. Brainpipe covering Heuristics Inc. "Step Up" is missing (and yes, that's me covering myself with help from Starfinger).
I also know Roymond covered a song for me... hmmm which one was it? Ah yes, "Control Yourself". I have it on my work computer if you need that.

I do not have that roymond cover of your song, so put it somewhere where I can get to it and I'll add it. Thanks.

I've been inclined not to include the "cover yourself" songs here, though I could be talked into it... it is, after all, songfighters covering songfighters... the songs from bolio, brainpipe, dano, jackshite, j$, kingarthur, landfills, and rabid still seem to be around.

If anybody has copies of the Hell Yeahs, Feldspar, Noah McLaughlin, Freddielove, Fluffy, sonofsupercar, or caravanray - send 'em to me and I'll go ahead and include that bunch in the archive.

What a coincidence, I found an incomplete cover of a Jon Eric Songfight song, from exactly 10 years ago (give or take a week.) Here are some of the Songfight Covers I did that aren't on the site already. Add them if appropriate:

Bolio cover of Jon Eric's Brown Boxes (his name on that fight was 'Jon of New Orleans'), it's incomplete but I think it works as an instrumental.

No Cash Value cover of Ken's Super Duper Band 'n Stuff 'Bad Dreams'

No Cash Value cover of Octothorpe's 'Across The Dusty Plains'

Fun going over old covers. I still listen to a lot of Songfight! tunes from the mid 2000's. I'm still far from being able to record again, but this is making me want to get into it again.

Hi K_A,

Abominominous did a cover of my song for the "Thinkin' About The Old Days" song fight. This is a link to his wonderful cover: https://soundcloud.com/deetak/abominomi ... nkin-about

Wow! I can't listen to this until I get home tonight, but I'm flattered and humbled that you did this!

And, yikes. I can hardly believe it's been ten years.
