Incidentally, I updated one of my mp3s late last night, so if you'd already downloaded them for posting somewhere else, please update mine.

mine needs more mixing, and mastering, but other than that if it needs it it's not getting done. today's honorary thanksgiving.

Alright, the only question that remains about finishing the song tonight: do I sing with the continued cold, or do I pussy out with a spoken-word rendition? STAY TUNED.

third option: have my kids do the lyrics line-by-line, and then wince when they repeat the NSFW lyrics at school the next day. I have not ruled this option out.

So is the word "television". It caught on.

Television? The word is half Greek, half Latin. No good can come of it.

No. I am almost finished a recorded version. Couple of days away. The video, if it comes off - will just be a preview.

I can say with reasonable certainty that I won't be done tonight. Sorry.

Also, to my coveree, I mean no disrespect, but your bridge had to go. The gods of rock demanded a sacrifice. 8)

Because you don't write bridges or because he meant no disrespect?

Submitted. Instrumental. I'm content, if not overjoyed, at how it turned out. Plus, earlier in the thread my cover-ee stated they would be late with their submission, so now I don't feel so bad. I will say this, however: I didn't realize such a lovely melody lurked in the song until I tried to play it on the piano. Off to bed with a headache now.

EDIT: the PM to king arthur is sitting in my outbox. I don't know if I did something wrong, or if that's what it does until he reads it. I'm such a n00b sometimes. If I did it wrong, someone be sure to tell me.

It sits in the outbox until its intended recipient reads it. Stress not, my minty friend.

15 / 23 songs have been received, one person may wind up being stiffed, as I haven't heard anything from the cover-er yet... but, good job so far, everybody!
