I'm completely booked up until the 8th, so I guess that gives me about five hours between then and the extended deadline.

I have my song arranged and a very rough G&G recording. Hopefully in the next week I can get it to my usual level of not-quite-terrible.

I've got first drafts of all the instruments recorded other than vocals and tambourine (yes, tambourine. Deal with it). Lyrics about two-thirds done. Going to record vocals tonight, maybe redo the piano, and then send it off to Lunkhead for some bass. I'm more on-schedule for this than I was for either of the two CoT competitions I actually ran.

I have a very very rough studio recording now, yay. I am finally using my violin bass and my newish electric drumkit (including the Wavedrum) in a song, and quickly realizing how bad I am at playing both of them.

More cowbell.

Incidentally, I'm about 99% sure I know who suggested my title, and I'm betting he'd be proud that my song only uses three chords and has lyrics that sound pretty good but don't make much sense.

It wouldn't be too difficult for me to jury-rig another custom site for this, but you might want to ask Mike Lamb first.

Lamb hosts my site, so either way it'll wind up on the same server, anyway. :P

Done. Like a dinner.

Quite possibly the finest thing I have ever written.

My guitar and vocals are just perfect on this.

Where do I send it?

Maybe the 2nd best thing I've ever written.
Top 100 - easy.
Certainly the best thing I've written this week. No question.
