That is sir Stinko on an honest to goodness Theremin. And sir Durand on an honest to goodness trumpet. ;)

Now I'm going to go listen to the songs and see who got stuck with me. :P

Thank you for your cover of Heavy Bells, Balance Lost. The way you started it was a shock. I never imagined this song so unplugged and hearing those odd slurred J.Roddy lyrics (which I love) with good pronunciation. Then BAM, you kicked it in and rocked it. :)

I hope everyone is enjoying the GOM. Sorry again for everything taking so long. I'll fix any issues (including adding the HInc song which had gotten lost in my e-mail) tomorrow morning.

And Albatross, thanks for the fun cover!

I must offer sincere apologies to Senor del Stinko for my tardiness. Your gift is coming this weekend!

Not a problem, Iggy. Enjoying the tunes that are up there. Good luck with that list I put up, too!

I just sent it in. Just in case Niv can't get to it right away, I also stuck a copy here.

That was a lot of fun to work on.

Great work, man! I was totally diggin' the laidback groove when you shifted it into overdrive and took it for a fun and punky ride. Very good fun and very good work. I am quite pleased and I thank you much!

Thanks to Glennny for including me in his rendition of The Logical Song! It was fun and a nice way to come out of GOM semi-retirement. (Self-imposed exile is more like it—I owe too many previous gifts to be taking on new ones!)

Let's wait until HInc's song gets posted before we officially declare who got stiffed.

In the meantime, I have made an album of sorts. And by "made an album" I mean "tagged and normalized a bunch of MP3s, gave it a cheezy name and made a cheezy album cover." It contains all of my solo Songfight covers of non-SF artists, namely the GoM entries as well as the band-specific sidefights.

Ah, yes, that's a good idea. Once official declarations roll in, we can determine what, if anything, might need to happen.

Sorry. I've been having a tough time with recording lately, but I haven't given up yet. (Plus, it's a super tough list!)

EDITED: No stiffees this year. Seeing as how this is the GoM and not the porn industry, hooray!

As does mine.

If there is such a time that it is official that stiffing has happened, I will be happy fulfilling one of these assignments so that no children or songfighters should go without their cover song of choice this holiday season. What holiday that is I do not know.

Yes, you did, and I don't believe I ever said thank you. 'Tis quite the nice gift, I must say. I appreciate the effort you put into it and I enjoy it very much!

I was just referring above to me putting in a little extra and doing a song if someone still needed one. Until that moment, though, I'm on Standby.
