Anyone else seen/read this book?
It can be a harsh read at times, but it has its moments of brilliance!

It explains the importance of songs and poetry for the sake of our species existence.
How it’s not just a fun little melody we like to sing along to, but how we been condition through evolution
To keep passing on their meanings and life lessons along with them. Basic knowledge, I know. This book goes
Into a lot more details, into the world of neurology, Darwinism, psychology, statistics, music composition and more.

I highly recommended if your into this kind of stuff, or just want to find out why music and songs effect you the way they do.
Check it.

I read it a couple of months ago. I think he goes a little crazy with his compulsive need to classify everything into one category or another, but there's a few moments of brilliance when he discusses how the human race co-evolved with music.
