Ascent

Post by RangerDenni »

I got fluffy's Unity Book 1 Ascent in my mail last week. I even made Mr.DJRD record me opening the package in the mail. I am silly.

I really like it so far and it is right up my alley. I'll finish it this week and then do some writing about it.

More people should be checking this out. Fluffy, this is great! The production is top notch, and it's sooo you (total coincidence, I know). Congrats!

p.s. Looks great on Kindle for iPad, btw

Thanks, both of you! I only put out the Kindle version because it was easy to do anyway. Glad it's working well on the iPad - I never actually tested it on any real devices, and just made sure it worked well enough in the Kindle emulator. I guess I should have at LEAST put it on my Fire.

When you're done reading Ascent (which is, incidentally, also still on my site for free) feel free to check out the other stories as well. :) I'm hoping to get around to finishing enough stories to put out a book 2 as well.

So do fill me in, fluffy, on putting out a graphic book on the kindle. I couldn't find any good information.

I can send you the raw files for my ebook if you want. It's just HTML with an extra bit of structure to turn it into an ePub, and then Amazon has a converter to turn it into a KF8 file. Everything you need is at kdp.amazon.com. They can also take it as a word doc or a PDF although I wouldn't recommend those approaches for anything image- or layout-heavy.

I can't tell where I am or it gives it away, but the plot is getting thicker and thicker. I was annoyed because I got interrupted at a cliffhanger moment! grrrr.

More later :)

love this!
