Original cartoons, absolutely. They rerun The Critic in the beautiful timeslot of 3am or some such hour, and that isn't bad. But yes, Drawn Together is horrible, and Shorties is the worst possible idea for a comedy show. There are likely others I am forgetting (because I have blocked them from my memory).

Uh, the Family Guy?

Unless I'm watching a different Comedy Central. Of course, this is not an original comedy central show either, but I just want to clarify: Damn funny.

Family Guy doesn't do it for me. That show's kind of like chewing tinfoil imo.

Dr. Katz?

I think The Critic and Dilbert are both bad shows. Very bad shows.

Family Guy isn't on Comedy Central. It is a hilarious, brilliant show.

Dr. Katz is bad.

I love The Critic, and own the entire series on DVD. It's closely related to Family Guy, though, in terms of the style of humor it embraces, so if you like one, you'd probably be inclined to like the other.

Haven't seen Dr. Katz in years and years. I thought it was moderately funny, but the guests usually just repeated verbatim some stand-up routine they'd been doing anyway. And one can only take so much squigglevision.

I haven't seen Drawn Together or Shorties. Both looked pretty terrible.

JB, you're the first person I've met who doesn't like Family Guy. So I'm curious: what about it grates you?

Two corrections, June. 1: Undergrads was an MTV cartoon. (And also it sucked.)

And 2: though Family Guy got cancelled, there are 35 new episodes already finished and set to start airing on Fox January 25, 2005.

Gary and Mike? That's not really a cartoon.

Undergrads was rerun on Comedy Central a while ago. It was very good.

The only reason that SWS is a bad cartoon is Patrice ONeal and the other guy. They are incredibly not funny.

I hate hate hate how Comedy Central is currently trying to ram a few comedians down our throats. Patrice ONeal, Rich Voss (/me vomits), the italian dude, and that Jewish lady. Oh, and Collin Quinn of course. NONE of these people have ever made me laugh. They're stale and unoriginal, but for some reason, Comedy Central keeps formulating all these new shitty shows for them to be featured in.

Greg Giraldo is the only funny regular on Tough Crowd.

I haven't seen Drawn Together, but I'm sure it sucks ass. Adam Carolla does the pig's voice, though, and I like him.

Oh, and Dom Irrera. That motherfucker is the most boring person on the planet. Jesus. I'd rather watch a 30-minute comedy special starring Fluffy than with that guy.

Oh, and Crank Yankers. Don't even get me started.

The only things on Comedy Central worth watching are South Park, The Daily Show, and the occasional Comedy Central Presents (Dane Cook, Brian Reagan, Pablo Francisco, Stephen Lynch, Wanda Sykes, and Mitch Hedburg are all safe bets).

There is no better way to lose credibility than to say you like Wanda Sykes. Sorry man, the rest of your post even had merit, but, ouch.

I've seen the specials. Her voice is the most grating of all people ever (yes, including Fran Drescher), and she just isn't funny. At all.
