Farscape

Post by Yook »

I love this show, and had always regretted not having started watching it from the beginning. Now, thanks to the generosity of a certain monkey, I've got every single episode in my grubby little paws. I'm watching them straight through, and I'm ridiculously pleased.

Farscape is possibly my favorite TV show of all time, challenged solely by early-seasons of the X-Files and Bab5.

Farscape is cool but I'm more of a fan of Stargate SG-1. The acting in Farscape always seemed to be a little self-conscious in some way, I don't know how else to describe it. I watch it sometimes anyway, when it's on.

Normally I'd give my usual rant about how much I dislike SG-1, but I can't ever rant at the Jazz, it is like being mean to Coltraine or Monk, I could never do that. :)

Farscape is like yummy chocolate. Mmm. Chocolate.

So many things left untold! But yeah, what an awesome show. They're making a Firely movie--hopefully it'll cover everything that hasn't been covered yet.

Or better yet, hopefully they'll just start making more episodes.

I was wondering how quickly this would become a thread about Firefly. ;)

I LOVE Farscape!!!!!!! Last year I travelled for work a lot and Farscape DVD's accompanied every trip, until I was almost completely caught up. Now I'm about halfway through season 3. The season 2 finale episodes were some of the most excitng TV I've ever seen. I'm staying away from the new ones until I'm caught up with the old.

Never even heard of Firefly, so there.

Farscape is an amazing show and as a result I often say "What the Frill" to my cinfused friends.
Firefly was AMAZING!!!!!
Simply put, the part where the captain kicked that guy into the Jet turbine thing in the first episode made it all worth it.

STARGATE SG-1 OWNS MY PENIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JAFFA-KREE! SEL-KEK-NEM-RAWN!!!!
I OWN THE SG-1 ROLEPLAYING GAME BOOK!!!!!!!

Oh, come on. Farscape is so much more of a campy RPG nerd show. And SG-1 has the awesome power of MacGyver. He will hack your computer with a barrette and a pack of Juicy Fruit! :P
