Anyone start watching this? It started weak, like, "oh, another one of these". *sigh* But quickly got rolling by the second episode with new creepiness.

It's the early professional years of Hannibal Lecter before silence of the Lambs and after Hannibal Rising. How he grew to be the character from the movie.

Ugh, now I want to see it even more.
The problem is, this show is a continuation from episode to episode. So it's going to leave a big whole in the storyline. Even if they air it later after the initial blow of recent events calm down, it will still be out of place.
I'm sure he has a plan. But it is cool that he chose people's emotions over his wallet and ego. Kudos for that.

I like the show a lot. I think Mads Mikkelsen is an excellent heir to the Lecter character, and I've always loved his work. The main guy's pretty good, too. Excited to see how it develops!

Yeah, he was a great pick for Lector. He has that sophisticated boys from Brazil look. I was trying to remember where I saw him before, it was in Casino Royal.

Yeah, that's where I first saw him. He's also in a lot of Nicolas Winding Refn movies (the guy that did Drive). If you're in for a head trip, check out Valhalla Rising or the Pusher movies!
