Better Call Saul
Anyone else watching this? I was so late to the party on Breaking Bad, I'm trying to get on board with this right away. First episode is good. It has the same tension and shock of Breaking Bad, but also it's own drama. Probably going to be a really fun ride.

Re: Better Call Saul
I too was late on Breaking Bad but absolutely LOVED it on Netflix. We just finished the entire thing about two weeks ago. Perfect timing in order to start watching Better Call Saul.ken wrote:Anyone else watching this? I was so late to the party on Breaking Bad, I'm trying to get on board with this right away. We hardly ever switch our TV back over to the cable input but for the last two nights, we have been watching the show in real-time.
Part 2 of the season premier was a bit brutal, but it was great. I think I already love this show now too.

Re: Better Call Saul
I came here to post the BCS thread. It started slow, but half way through you could tell it was going to develop well, and it did. Some reviews said that you'd need to see BB to get in the groove of BCS, but I don't agree at all. It's only the first episode and by the end when he hooked up with the skater brothers, you can tell this show has legs of it's own.
BUT, i will say that being familiar with BB, it's fun seeing the BB people already popping up. For those that haven't seen BB, they are just new characters. But for us BB fans, it's all OOooo! OoooOooOOO! that's _____________! (no spoilers)
I haven't googled it yet, but I saw two big characters (3 counting Saul) and one small part character. I'm happy to see Michael McKean in the new lineup. He's the reason for my ghost writer name I use, William L Tripowtski (a play on Billy's Little Trip) in memory of Lenny Kosnowski. ~true story
