Go Sabres! Moved on to the second round in a very dominant Game 6.
And the third! ROCK!

I'm cheering for Buffalo and Anaheim. What an incredible series that will be.

I.
Can't.
Wait.

Just kidding. Go Oilers. Go... run with it. Take it to the stars. Crush your opponents like they are jellyfish in the palm of your glove.

So, lemme get this straight- you're cheering for Buffalo now, because your flames got eliminated?

Uhh... you do know that there's a perfectly good team still in the playoffs (and doing pretty damned good, BTW) who is IN YOUR OWN PROVINCE, right? I'm an old-school Oilers fan, from probably 1986 or so, and sure, there was quite a rivalry between them and the Flames back then. But that sort of ended after their dynasty era... I actually cheered for the flames in, uh, '91 was it? They played the Habs for the cup and won. I admit, that had more to do with me hating the Habs with every fibre of my being than me actually wanting the Flames to win, but still... Also, I cheered for them a couple years ago when they beat Tampon Bay for the cup. (don't even try to argue this point, Hoblit, the video replays from 75 different angles clearly indicates that they had a goal, which means they should have won the series)

I guess what I'm saying is this: Keep it in the family, dude. Have some Alberta pride.

Cheering for the Ducks, solely because they're the official team of the SportsBash.

...and every time they win, Eric plays Brass Bonanza on the air. That's worth blind loyalty.

I don't deny that Edmonton is a great team. If they made it to the final round I would probably cheer for them. However, I'm from Calgary, and you probably know the rivalry we have with Edmonton, and the Flames being eliminated to quick in the playoffs is still pretty recent and we're all bitter. Edmonton is a good team though ... I'll admit that.

Women's college volleyball. I have no idea if the plays are exciting, but those shorts. Hmmm...

Seriously, though, I voted American football. For me, there's nothing like a Sunday afternoon, a cold brew, Doritos, and a big, game-defining score.

Baseball has some great end-of-game moments, too, but I just can't take the 3+ hours of pitch, shot of dugout, pitch, shot of first baseman, pitch, shot of fans, pitch, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........

Being a volleyball player myself I really enjoy seeing it on tv, and the womens' games are much more interesting, more about finesse than power. Fun to see. Also, yes.
