fluffy, I'm so glad all this is working out for you. It's been nice viewing from this distance.
I'm sorry I couldn't make the show this year. Seeing everybody rave on about it, I am missing you all.

Is that playlist public? I get a "not found" message for that link:
We can’t find that playlist.
Did you try to access a private playlist while not being signed in?
Maybe the playlist has been removed.

The story of the Guess and Check appearance for those who don't know:

It was Friday and Kenka/Airlines had to drop out because half of the duo had a family emergency. That made for a 30 minute space on the lineup. I wasn't worried about that at all. But I hadn't heard from the Howling Monkeys and I started getting worried. The Howling Monkeys facebook page was down and my messages were going for not. It looked like there was going to be a 1 hour gap in the lineup. That worried me. I waited until I was on my way to Mise En Place and decided to try dropping a line to Guess and Check. Guess and Check used to Songfight as Zero Effect and they were starting to tour again around the city. I had heard that they were playing Arlene's Grocery a few blocks away from Sidewalk, so I asked them if they could do a doubleheader and they delightedly said yes. Then the Howling Monkeys finally got in contact with me and said he was ready to go for Sunday. So suddenly we were back up to 11 bands. And that's the story. G&C didn't play any SF songs because they only had a day's notice before jumping on, but they did cover Fleetwood Mac. And The Howling Monkeys ended up being pretty badass. All good.

Thanks to fluffy for inviting to me to play on the Sockpuppet set and the Sockpuppet live fight. It has been fun to perform as Octothorpe, but it's not the same without Mad Dog there. Also, there are very few new Octothorpe songs, and you're all tired of the old ones. Paul was a great addition to the Sockpuppet ensemble, as was Pepper Jane. I feel like Sockpuppet has reached a new milestone with this outing, and I was happy to be a part of it. Congratulations, fluffy.

This sampler is great, thanks so much for putting it together, and let me know as soon as there is The Lucky Witch and the Righteous Ghost merch available.

I am putting this here because of a request I got at SF Live: Touch & Go for one of the shirts I was wearing. Most of the site is down due to inactivity, but I have put up the SF Live Shirts: http://www.cafepress.com/songfight

Rebuilding the site slowly as I have time: "fdrink" shirts now also available: http://www.cafepress.com/songfight/13743688

Since when did Cafepress start selling 3XLTs? I'm gonna have to buy one of those now, 10 years after the fact.

I was searching around some old files and, much to my surprise, I stumbled upon an AIFF just listed Songfight and nothing else. I checked it out and it seems to be a 2-hour long board recording from the Mise-En-Scene night of SF Live 2016 featuring the Live Fight and the Open Mic section. Anyone want to take a look at it and see if they can find some good stuff in there, let me know.

that's awesome Niv!
I have video of the whole thing. I bet the board mix is better audio than my camera mike.
