Hey folks,

While the Sunday show is all set and ready to go, we have some options for Saturday so I wanted to poll the populace...

For Saturday, the options include one venue where the vibe is more acoustic that would have us there at night. A second option is an afternoon show. There aren't really restrictions on that, it's just an afternoon. Or do we do a FUBU (For us, by us) show at a more inclusive venue. If you were at the NYC show a few years back, think Firehouse Space. And of course, I can just keep on hunting for just a traditional Saturday night full on venue.

Acoustic venue sounds good, especially since a lot of us end up just doing solo-on-guitar acts for a lot of the show anyway. Afternoon show could also be fun. What times are we talking? And would the end time be more flexible or would there be a hard cutoff? We're not so good at meeting hard cutoff times, historically. :)

I'm not sure I can make it. I'm trying to swing it. I definitely want an electric set if I do make it.
My vote would be an afternoon slot with electric potential rather than an acoustic slot.

What's the best guess for set lengths?

We can do a picnic in Brooklyn Bridge Park with acoustic instruments...

Dude. C'mon. Make the show!

We have been allotted a generous amount of time at Sidewalk (our electric night + livefight). We can do 8 bands with 30 minute sets and still have over an hour for the livefight.

If I can swing it, it'll be epic, I promise.
Cavedwellers electric, with King (from Daddy Bop) coming down from upstate.

I'm doing everything I can. I'll keep you informed :)

61Local in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn is a sweet space for a FUBU event, or we can allow drifters in. Good beer, low-key.

Union Hall in Park Slope, Brooklyn doesn't have anything booked yet for the 16th. It's a full on stage setting.

Watching Pepper Jane play song fight songs in a pub in Toowoomba. You're going to love her in NYC.

I too watched what may have once been Songfight songs played by Caravan Ray last night. Great three-quarter-time middle-aged novelty act stuff :) You're like an Australian j$! Or is that the wrong way round :-/ ...
I do love Songfight. I have many more challenge titles that I've been working on concurrently which I'll post eventually
