That poster is full of win! Love it!

Would be good to get some printed in the near future so I can start hanging them up around downtown. One of them is most assuredly going in my music room too!

ROCK!

No hurry, Glenn. It's four months away. I suspect there will be a few changes in the roster before we need to start hanging it up. I just wanted to start building the enthusiasm and bring the slow pokes out of the woodwork.

That poster is pretty damn awesome. Just sayin'.

Even though it's 4 months away (and still subject to revision), that's not going to stop me from advertising a bit.

Actually, it's the album art for the soundtrack which, if you think about it, is an even better fit for us...

well, i'm still thinking about this and actually did some flight pricing today. san jose to spokane is about $225 round trip, with one stop, takes about 4 hours i think. i was also kind of considering flying to seattle and renting a car and driving if it was significantly cheaper (it's only about 2 hours drive right?) but there was only about a $40 difference.

so i'd probably fly into spokane on friday and fly back on sunday. if i did this. still hoping to attend.

hey, somebody should change the "songfight live" link on the homepage sidebar. It still points to the Tampa info.

at least link it to this thread maybe.

I am working on the final poster design.

See first latest iteration here

If you're currently not on it and coming, please post. Merisan, I have you.

If you're currently on it and NOT coming, please post also.

If you have gotten your band name wrong or spelled it incorrectly, now is the time to speak up, as well.

Thanks, SPUD.

My time off (July 15) is approved! Now I have to figure out when and how I'm going to get there. My preference would be to fly to Seattle and then tag along with someone who's driving to Spokane (because Southwest Airlines doesn't go from SFO to Spokane, not even indirectly, and I don't want to deal with Oakland airport or an airline other than Southwest) but of course that requires coordination.

Also, most of the people I'd most likely be performing with (inevitableguy and Octothorpe, presumably) are in Seattle and would probably be driving, so there's no point in me getting to Spokane before them, especially if we plan to, you know, practice.

Is it too early to start neurotically fretting about this stuff?

Are you kidding me? I've already been neurotically fretting about this stuff for weeks. (Not doing anything about it, mind you, just fretting.)

I was planning on PM'ing you in the near future with the same question...but since it's out here, let's pursue it further. Um...I have no idea when I'm going to get there. I will be driving, and I'm happy to give you a lift from Seattle to Spokane, but I can't help you out on the return trip back to Seattle (unless you want to spend a day in Ellensburg on the way back).
