It unfolds and is quite comfortable. Marcus Kellis can vouch for that, if he ever shows up here again.

Oh, and I'm close to BART (walking distance), making it a pretty easy transit from the airport, too.
Thanks! I'll take that couch. I will do what I can to get a flight secured. I'll confirm soon hopefully.

Perhaps I was hasty- I admit my sample size is small. It seems occasionally participation in a human centipede is required at SongFight! Live.

Ha! Good one. That's really more like a freaky conga line, though. No surgery required for that. ;)

It's actually a reprise of this, in the correct order and everything:

That's why everyone should come, if it is even a remote possibility!

I may have spoken too soon. I'll keep you posted, but for now, mark me down as "No."

I remain a maybe, but an enthusiastic maybe who will stay late on Sunday just to flesh out the ranks if I can get out there. Sure do wish I could get a band together, though. Maybe I'll pre-record some accompaniment for this...

If you come up for the show, I know some guys who might be able to back you up, at least on a couple song. I can't make any promises for them, though. They don't want to spread themselves too thin. But they have some experience with a few of your songs already. ;)

Looking more likely that I'll show up after all. Well, sorta. Work has determined that I'm not 100% necessary on that weekend, but they did already cancel my time-off request, meaning I need to put in a new one...

It's a mess.

Anyway. I haven't cancelled my flight yet, so there's that.

Thanks, Lunkhead! Although I may bring a surprising number of new songs, we'll see. I'm showing up, unless something in life reaches out and smacks me in the head, so I'll hopefully see you all there.

I'm back in.

Also, day jobs suck. A necessary evil, in many cases, but they suck.

Yeah, if it comes down to that, I'll just tell 'em to shove it, and if there's still a job waiting for me when I get back, then yay. But I'm actually very good at my job and I just got promoted (which started this nonsense in the first place), so I think they'd be reluctant to outright fire me over something like this. It's worth being in hot water for a couple of weeks, I figure.

See you guys there!
