I think I'm bringing my big Lowden acoustic 6 string, since I'll need to do some practicing to make up for all the practicing I've not been doing.

Okay, I think I have the complete required fluffygear staged and ready to go:

- Keyboard (Casio Privia PX-300 - not a 400 as I mistakenly said earlier, not that it makes a difference) and stand
- Ovation 12-string and stand
- Cello
- A bunch of guitar accessories (capo, soundhole pickup, brass slide, picks, e-bow, string winder/cutter in case shit happens)
- A bunch of effects pedals (wah, distortion, multi-fx, simple looper, and a vocal processor Spud requested)
- A couple of power strips
- Guitar amp and stand
- Three full-size mic stands
- One mini mic stand (for micing an amp or whatever)
- PreSonus Inspire 1394
- A bunch of instrument and mic cables
- Assorted drum sticks
- Kazoos
- Two dynamic mics (for vocals) and three condenser mics (2x MXL V63m for recording the room, 1x MXL 990 for micing an amp or whatever)
- Glockenspiel

I will also bring my MacBook for streaming/recording/whatever.

Hopefully this all fits in my car and I won't be expected to drive a lot of people afterwards (I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to put both rear seats down faster than Old Yeller).

fluffy, I'm kind of confused. Is that all stuff that you are bringing just for your set? Is some or all of that for general use? I'm asking because Ken and I had already planned out bringing six mics (SM57s and SM58s), with mic stands and mic cables, along with a mixer with six preamps. Ken and I haven't talked about it yet but I'm guessing that we won't really mic very much other than vocals, as the space isn't very large, and we're not going to have a mixer with a ton of inputs. We're also bringing two guitar amps that we'd like to have set up as the back line guitar amps for people to use, to try to minimize setup and tear down time. I'm bringing a 5-guitar guitar stand to. Anyway, if you'd like to cut down on the amount of stuff you're bringing, here's what we weren't planning to bring or what sounds otherwise useful from the stuff that I know isn't specifically for your set, or what is just good stuff to have around:

- Guitar accessories
- Guitar pedals (most useful would be a tuner pedal and a distortion pedal)
- Power strips
- Glockenspiel
- Stuff for recording/streaming the gig
I never got a chance to check if they have wifi at the Abbey Tavern, so we'll have to wait and see about that. Hopefully they have it so we can get the stream going.

Most of this stuff is for general use. All I'm using specifically on mine is the 12-string and the cello, and hopefully someone will want to use the ukulele and/or glockenspiel for the Night Terrors open jam. I wasn't sure what the mic situation was, but most of the mics are going into my cable bag so it doesn't make any difference to car space one way or the other.

My guitar multi-effects pedal also has a tuner mode in it, although I don't think it's very accurate. I also am bringing a Korg chromatic tuner which is much better, although not a pedal.

If we don't need the amp then I can definitely leave that at home, and also the MXL990 since I was only going to use that to mic the amp.

Yeah, we don't need the amp. Glen is bringing his. It's a Fender HotRod something-or-other. I'll bring an extra distortion pedal for that rig, so that there is something very simple that people can just stomp on/off in case they don't want to work with the multi-effects pedal.

Yes. We won't need to bring PA stuff to Mojito's, either, which will be nice. (We won't need to bring a mixer, mics, mic stands, or mic cables.)

Oh, sure, less gear to bring on the night I DON'T have to bring my cello...

(Actually, does anyone want my cello Sunday? I'm willing to bring it if someone thinks it'll be useful.)

So what am I bringing tonight? I'd like to just take the bus if I can get away with it. I can send some gear along with Octothorpe, but I don't know how much they can fit.

I know # needs my keyboard stand and my vocal processor. Does anyone need (not "would be nice to have" but need) any of the following?
  • Keyboard
  • Guitar amp
  • Piano bench
  • 12-string guitar
