I'm sitting at a table in Spud's kitchen, across from Noah McLaughlin. We're working on our laptops and listening to Octothorpe rehearse downstairs. I've run through my set solo twice, as well as sat in while Naked Philosophy, sockpuppet, and Noah rehearsed their sets. I had pizza with Mike (Naked Philosophy), Noah, Spud, Bro, fluffy, Roymond, DJ Ranger Den, and Noah's illustrious guest Shanna Germain.

Life is good.

Yeah, Mr. California BLT.
Don't be shy, for all we know you could be a 16 year old kid from Denmark, that knows English, has a lot of spare time, and access to plenty of Internet Pictures... mostly animated .gifs

Some like to express themselves in dance, some in canvas and paint, but me, I express myself in animated .gifs.

I'm going to be an antiquated gilf soon. My son is getting married in Sept.

If I recall from your "duet" with your "son", you were disqualified from Nur Ein because he sounds exactly like you.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

Whoever has the piano, it would be good to get it back at #studio for an 11:00 practice... Thanks. Could use a guitar amp or two, as well. Also a cymbal stand with two cymbals...

Did anyone happen to pick up my sling from Sweet Lou's last night? I checked around for it before I left, but it was nowhere to be found.

Oh, I think I may have seen it in the bathroom, only at the time I wasn't mentally present enough to recognize what it was. I saw some weird black thing hanging up on the door to the stall and wondered wtf it was. Maybe that was your sling?

So did anyone think to cover Sweet Jane as "Sweet Lou's" for an encore?

Suitcase in my hand
Jon's in his thong and Spud's in his vest,
And me I'm in a rock'n'roll band....."
