make me 85% I'll figure it out in the next couple of days for sure. The situation my way is a tad shake-sy.

Are we using this as a talent exchange pool too?

I am willing to play drums and keyboard for people, although there will be better options for both I'm sure.

I need a drummer (well, and I'm also assuming things about who will be playing certain things with me so I'd better double-check with them, especially since all of my presumed keyboardists are listed as maybe... damnit guys, get your acts together).

I'm going to jump in and publicly thank everyone who's agreed to help me out:

fluffy's going to hit things
inevitableguy's going to shred
roymond brings the low end
RangerDenni's a-tinklin' the ivories, and joining me for "The Only French I Know" (I'm banking on that 85%...)

I shouldn't be fronting a band with this much talent.

I'll volunteer myself to anyone who needs a rhythm guitarist or some bass. What I lack in technique I make up for by being able to count. :-)

I am an average to decent drummer. Love hittin' them things. I'd be glad to help out, fluffy or whomever.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

I'm a poor to middling drummer but also love beating the drums inarticulately and could sit in on a set or two.

I'm back in the game. Make mine 100% ... I just booked.

I play piano real good. :) I play drums okayishly and can keep boring time and play fills in a mildly amusing fashion which doesn't really bring down the house in either open revolt or thronging adoration. I play the most basic of rhythm guitar but am good with an acoustic and can make pretty picks-ly sounds.
I don't do bass, but will vocally harmonize on command or do whatever. I am not going to try to rap like I did last year - this is my solemn promise to you.
I'm gonna try and bring my business casual acoustic. And some toys. Maybe some other stuff, hidden in my attache case.
(I just wanted to type attache case. It's one of my favorite things to type).

Is each of the listed attendees a band or act? In other words, we have between 19 and 23 sets to schedule over two nights?

The roymond orchestra will likely emulate Stop Making Sense...from one to 20 participants. Which is to say I'd like to play a short set with a band.

I will be playing with a full band as Naked Philosophy (band members yet to be determined).

I can also offer up my services as a guitarist/bassist/mandolin-er? as necessary. I'm no good at improvising, so I can only be in your band if you can get me chord charts with enough time to practice beforehand.

I wish I knew how to actually make some of this Psychotics music we have written in a Live Setting since as we know BLT does not actually, in fact, exist and I have in fact, been writing rock numbers with a choir of extremely well-organized chihuauauauauauas. But since I do not have the foggiest notion of how to mount such a spectacle other than to pick stuff out on the piano and make charts and ask other people to play everything; I am going to say that I am planning thus far to play what ever piano / guitarish instrument is before me and soloistically sing while I'm doing so.
(I could have said that more expediently. I'm very excited to be coming to Seattle and not excited that the tongue twister segment of my brain dislikes me at the moment. did I just type that? :) )

I am interested in your organization, and may actually make it up there for once. I could potentially play songs, but I'd be more interested in helping other people with their sets if they need vocalizing, saw, or other toy instruments.

Time to start scheduling! Both venues are available to us from 8pm until 1am.
In the listing above, I see 15 (#0F) "acts", as follows (not the order):

#01 Merisan
#02 roymond (with a band)
#03 sockpuppet
#04 Naked Philosophy
#05 ADD
#06 The John Benjamin Band
#07 DJ Ranger Den
#08 frankie big face
#09 sonofsupercar
#0A Ken's Super Duper Band 'n Stuff
#0B Manhattan Glutton
#0C Glenn and Rachael
#0D noah mclaughlin (with a band)
#0E Andre was here at midnight with Tokyo Expressway
#0F Klownhole

Octothorpe would make 16 (#10). Even taking off an hour for a live fight on Saturday night, that would give us all solid half-hour sets.
Please start posting your preferred night, how long you would like to play, and your preferred time slot. Also, if you aren't listed here, and you want to play, please let it be known!
