Rabid will have to update us on the practice space! Miss Pizza will be 9-12 or 9-1. I'll update with that info.

I got in touch with Lex of i.p./ Who Fly. He says he's going to try to show up for one of the shows. Didn't say a thing about performing but he said make an appearance.

I still need to assemble the band, but it looks like Frisbee will be coming down to Portland. We'd love to do a Thank Glennny for the Frisbee set.
This is particularly exciting for me, we've been writing songs together since late 2006, and this will be the first time we meet each other in person.

Trying to get the practice space for Thurs (all day)-Fri (up to a coupla-few hours before showtime)-Sat (up to a coupla-few hours before showtime), I'll be doing the final confirm with Roz this weekend.

Within walking distance: Sckavone's (good food & drinks); Stumptown Coffee (because coffee!); and TradeUp Music (used gear, repairs, &c., because emergencies). Also, Loprinzi's Gym, (very old-school environment) if you're into that sort of thing.

I can vouch for them. There's a few locations in Seattle and they are, by far, my favorite goddamn coffee anywhere. Especially because their decaf tastes just as good as their regular! (So I can have delicious coffee without an anxiety attack, yay!)

I've been quite the lurker around these parts lately - as I alluded to in the Gift of Music thread, life turned into somewhat of a shitstorm back in December, which kept me away from doing a lot of things that I would have liked (like, you know, enter fights). In the meantime, two fantastic things have happened in my life:

1. I got engaged! Some of you met my significant other in Austin two years ago, but we made it official in February, and we will be getting married in September.
2. I got a new job! It's similar to my old job, but with more opportunities for advancement. Also, even though the pay is basically the same, the benefits are quite a bit better.

What this means for me is that vacation time is currently a scarce and precious resource. Because of this, it will be a quick SFL for me...I expect to be driving down to Portland after work on Thursday evening, and back home Sunday afternoon, which means I'm missing out on a lot of the social activities, but I'm excited to be coming.

In summary - CONFIRMED!

anti-m, could you add 648 SW Salmon St to the map, with a label of BoltBus Stop? That'd be useful for anyone who's planning to come via BoltBus.

Thanks!

I noticed that you have me both as Naked Philosophy and as InevitableGuy on the main list. I'd like to be billed as Naked Philosophy on the posters, etc.

Confirmed!

In addition to my Add set, if possible, I'd like to do one with my lady Leah performing a few of our songs from live fights past. It can be short and early, like my _____. Sex Attack is probably not a great band name. Let's do Charm Offensive.

Yes. And my set shall consist of me getting drunk and making a variety of unpleasant noises, culminating in embarrassed laughter from anyone else involved as I start ranting about Natalie Portman.

YES HELLO I AM CONFIRMED!

I will be accompanied by a very nice girl who will probably play ukulele with me on some songs if we manage to write a few in the next couple months but we ain't even have a bandname yet so I expect those will either be rolled into a Future Boy set or take the place of it.
