My band is still looking for a new band name, and our bassist suggested "The Swinging Husseins"

Staged. He's still alive, and performing in Vegas.

I really feel strange and uncomfortable about all this. On the one hand, I'm opposed to capital punishment on principle, and particularly after a trail that has had it's fairness called into question by impartial observers.

On the other hand, it's Saddam fuckin' Hussein. I just don't have the will to complain too loudly about it.

Mostly I worry that they've just made a martyr.
