I've always felt a bit blasphemous with my choice. I'm from the Rockaways. Ramones is so deep rooted in my childhood. Yet my favorite Ramones song is Strength To Endure . It’s nowhere near a classic and it doesn't have Joey on lead but it's a song that has an infectious groove to it that I've always enjoyed.

Honorable mention to "I Wanna Be Sedated" just because of my wedding, where J$ and I lost our minds when the DJ put it on.

My favorite is not a full-length Ramones song, but the scene on The Simpsons, likely an early or mid 1990s episode, where the Ramones sing a happy birthday song for Mr. Burns, and neither the Ramones nor Mr. Burns seem to like it.

“Poison Heart”. Not exactly a quintessential Ramones song, but it has a darkness to it that resonates with me. It's an unhealthy person (or a supremely enlightened one) who doesn't get mad at the world from time to time, and this song does a good job of capturing that rage, frustration, and despair. Just don't dwell on it too much.

Commando I think is my favorite Ramones tune.

First rule is: the laws of Germany
Second rule is: be nice to mommy
Third real is: don't talk to commies
Fourth rule is: eat kosher salami

I Wanna Be Sedated... has anybody heard the cover by the Skandalous All-Stars? I like it a lot. They also did a great version of "Creep", getting back to an older thread.

We did, indeed and I enjoyed terrifying the majority of the gathered with my 'unique' dancing skills :)

Too difficult to call, but I would probably side with Glennny and say 'beat on the Brat'.
