"Someone or something", the challenge says. So you can write a diss track about broccoli or whatever, unless you don't want to be mean to broccoli.
I'll weigh in here and say that if someone writes a diss track about broccoli, I will take it upon myself to write a diss track about them. Broccoli is pure.
lol. broccoli is okay, but cauliflower SUCKS! fuck cauliflower so hard

I am not into fucking and sucking cauliflower, but if vegisexuality is your thing, go for it. I'm not sure how plant life gives consent, but I'm sure love will find a way. Or lust. Whichever

Sorry, Paco, I know that sting.

In with an hour to spare, myself. A personal best?

Shout out to my partner in crime, Heather. Fifteen years since The Hell Yeahs topped the Hold This For Me charts!

As in the previous rounds, I've packaged up the mp3s in a zip file and added all the appropriate metadata to the ID3 tags so these songs appear as part of a Various Artists album and not just a pile of random tracks. Enjoy!

I get Abominoninous MP3 album art for every track with that zip album. Is that just a result of making them all part of the same V/A album? I spent six of the last seven days painstakingly positioning budgerigars for our MP3 photoshoot while owl shouted at me to "write the song first" so naturally I'm aggrieved.

Wow, this has to be the strongest Nur Ein crowd I've heard. Great work everybody!

Although I groan almost every time I hear "Pump the brakes" in the lyrics. I really don't like that phrase, doh!

it's a better phrase than "successful marketing"

(sorry everyone, inside joke)

Awesome round!
My early favorite is Frankie Big Face, they're all great songs though! Still soaking them in.

I haven't listened yet, but agreed on the phrase. I'll be playing the songs in the car for the next few days though I guess the repeated title lines will be a good reminder not to drive dangerously. Or to drive more dangerously. I'll be sure to factor this into my reviews. IF I survive.

Another strong round! I’m glad we made it in. Hope y’all don’t mind, but I couldn’t let this challenge go by without a nod to Robert Burns. :)

early impressions: really impressed by Frankie Big Face & Grumpy Mike's songs this time around. Those are probably my early top 2. But only listened to everything once so far.

For me Agony Sauce has gotta be my favorite. Really captured what I expected (or at least hoped someone would do) in a "Diss Track" challenge in a songfight competition.

I'm still a little upset Glenn didn't dis me in the song. He only does it in real life, which just isn't the same.
