Nur Ein V
Round Four:

Title: "'Not In This Lifetime"
Due Date: May 16th at 11:59PM (Eastern)
Non-optional Challenge: Use the sample
Send your completed song to nurein.sidefight@gmail.com

Here's a sample created by Frankie Big Face. All you need to do is use it in your song. (We've included three versions of the sample, just at varied speeds)
Nur Ein Loop 2 - 96 BPM.mp3
(449.12 KiB) Downloaded 447 times
Nur Ein Loop 2 - 112 BPM.mp3
(398.92 KiB) Downloaded 363 times
Nur Ein Loop 2 - 132 BPM.mp3
(353 KiB) Downloaded 381 times
The sample can be altered by tempo, duration, pitch, or timbre as long as it retains enough of its original character to be recognizable. It does not need to be looped.

Thank you for posting the title/challenge despite the judging being unfinished. Frankly, the benefit of an extra night's sleep in which to let my brain process it will increase the odds of inspiration a lot more than starting to work on it and finding out I'm booted will piss me off. :D

(did that sentence even make sense?)

Damn, that is an awesome challenge for Nur Ein. Just hearing the 96bpm version kicked my gears into action. Well, I am intoxicated, so I'm sure the faster BPMs will inspire me again after coffee tomorrow. If my crap vocals didn't kill my chances for this round, I'm going to love this title and challenge! I don't do keys in my music other than the collabs I did with Jon and fluffy (in that order) and I had good reviews both times, not to mention I liked both very much.

Too shy shy, hush hush, eye to eye.

The one in the back/right in the red shirt looks like Hillery Swank.

I think you just won round 4. Or possibly the internet. If I were a judge, I would grant you immunity. In my pants.

Ray, that picture is worth a thousand words. OK, the hair alone is worth a thousand words. That being said, they were nothing but a poor mans Duran Duran.

The lead singer (pictured front and center in the yellow shirt (looking quite cheeky), was also the same person that sings "The Never Ending Story" (from movie of the same title).

"the never ending, shy-shy hush-hush".

Also, you can't see it in that picture, but the blond all the way to the right has a beaded mullet.
Eeep-opp-orp-opp-opp...that means I love you!

there's a high likelihood I got booted in this next round. Maybe I should enter song fight someday with 'beaded mullet' as a name.. or would I have to sport a beaded mullet then..

While we're waiting on the results, who wants to run a book on when Minty will write his next "I'm dropping out" post?

Put me down for 10am Saturday morning.

I just made an 80 BPM version of this thing for a contestant, so again, don't hesitate to ask for a custom tempo.

"Not In This Lifetime"

Heh. But to be fair, I only did that in the last round. Before that, I wrote EMAILS, and deleted them without sending. :P
