Premium Only
This artist has asked us to release this album on Premium only for a little while, but check back soon.
Good luck with that.

That is not all that unusual. I'll have to check now what is going on with that album on Pandora...

One of the "strategies" I've read about for indie releases is to find a blog or podcast or review site or musically related site and offer them exclusive access to your album for a period of time. The idea is that it will generate interest, or at least be exposed to a new audience. Although it is different in that anyone going to that site or listening to that podcast can listen whereas on spotify you'd have to pay in order to gain that access. While I doubt many people subscribe to spotify just for a tweedy album (but who knows) it worked in as much as we are talking about it now.

Looks like Pandora has it available on our free tier (radio only). It should be popping up now on Jeff Tweedy and Wilco stations. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have no problem with artists restricting the formats their music is available on. Why should Tweedy have to put it anywhere he doesn't want to?

As far as I can tell, the free Spotify tier contributes to the problem of artists not being able to make a living.
