mini "reviews"
these are my favorites:
1: 8legs, kamakura, mias, beowulf, feldspar, puce, abomb, josh
2: bewells, rule6, belinski, leveln
abomb - gutsy, turning in a 14-minute song. this is very good, but i think it might need to vary a bit more, like in isaac hayes' "walk on by." however, in a concert this would rock at this length. all that said, i like it a lot.
lot of joshy songs this week especially josh's, which has an excellent guitar sound.
puce's song rocks. it's getting my vote.

Exit Leaf. All stage lights go out. We see Mbeanis (Eight LeggedLeaf: 8leggedoedipus Fucking awesome, right off the bat. Reminds me of Dylan Nau.
Oedipus) frantically dig through the Songfight Archive. With great
joy he Discovers such Dylan Nau gems as Promise is a Promise and
Lizard Wizard. The audience is prompted to check the archives
from their seats. Stage lights come on again.
Mbeanis: Showers Leaf with Platonic kisses. That is probably the most
awesome compliment ever. Thank you.
End of Act II
