On a related note, it looks like I'm in for this one. Got a concept, a nice tidy melody and even *gasp* a bridge. We'll see how recording goes tomorrow.

Holy crap I thought I'd never have a chorus. I think I'm onto something... 'good'.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

Choruses are supposed to be the best part! Now my verse sucks in comparison. Maybe my song should be all chorus? Seriously, this verse riff is like wearing clown shoes to a funeral.

Try choruses and bridges. And instrumental parts.

I have ideas, but not sure if I'll have time to do a good demo, and not sure it's worth putting in another rushed one.

There's still time to polish the turd and send it back in.... (disclosure: I haven't listened, so it may be finely polished already)

I got the song written and a rough recording yesterday. I've started on a slightly more polished version today but am already hitting road blocks. If I don't get the recording done today the mix won't get done by Friday.
