Suffering from Excessive Lyrics Syndrome and TMI-Brain in some of my other endeavors, I started this one cuz I didn't get last week's whiny one out. Wah. If my chorus stops giving me lip I may be in again.

Just smack the chorus around a bit and show it who's the Xandorian!

I'm from X*O*ndor. But it's lovely that you care, darling! :) I'll smack the chorus. It's not the boss of me! :) This thread is silly. Gah!

*cracks knuckles* I'm in. Got a nice medieval ballad cracking here that I plan to Reznor-ify.

I'm back.

My wife has informed me of the song that my entry reminds her of, and it makes me cringe to hear the resemblance (not to mention that I didn't catch it sooner). Alas, I'm too deep in to not finish it. Probably won't win, but it felt nice to write.

I hate when that happens. But quite often by the time you finish, it'll be an emulsion of your style mixed in enough that it takes on a new life of it's own. So you're right to follow through.

Yeah, I usually don't let a little thing like unintentional plagiarism stop me.

It's a complicated chord progression, so I had a legitimate reason to believe it was a JE original. Nine chords per verse, and the first seven are the same (and in the same order as) as this particular other song that I won't name until someone else pins it in the review thread. The tempo and melody are significantly different, so I'm hoping that'll make it unrecognizable.

In fact, maybe I shouldn't have even mentioned it...

I am currently in a camper van travelling through the wilds of the Northern Territory - so unable to enter this week. Shame - it is a good title - between the masses of insect bites currently covering my body and the ever present threat of crocs whenever you go near water - it is a good title.

There's actually a lot more than that. I'm just only using 9 in my entry. :P
(It's only 8 if you're not counting suspended chords...)

Damn, I wish I was THERE with you. I have a great way of dealing with crocs and skeeterz. Rum.....they don't like the taste, dumb barstidz. Plus, when you're drunk enough, it's not gay to scratch each others itches in places they can't reach. :P

edit: is it odd that I just got an itch on my back I can't reach and after I finish typing this I'm going to go to the kitchen and grab the pasta claw utensil thingy and scratch the fuck out of my itchy spot?

...also, is it odd that I'm still doing all this typing with an insane itch, but I'm prolonging the EEeeAHhhhHHhcrazywunnascratchness and looking forward to the final euphoria feeling of when I finally start scratching it?
