Re: the optional challenge and performing your song int he live fight at Song Fight! Live. Generally speaking there is no "official" recording made of the live fight. Usually though a community member volunteers to record it. If that happens, you can try to work with the volunteer community member to obtain their live recording of your song for you to submit. Alternatively you may want to consider making your own live recording of your live fight song, so you can submit that.

For those of you playing along at home, folks not attending the live event/fight have performed their songs live at other venues and/or simulated performing live.

And this is by far the earliest I've gotten a live fight song written, as I finished writing it yesterday. Usually I come up with it at 4 AM the day of the live fight.

My entry is clearly not actually recorded live but I tried to remain faithful to the spirit of the thing by writing and recording it all very quickly while my ladyfriend watched. Also, I was drunk.
