Canciones del Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead prefight)
Are you ready for a spoooooooky fight? Maybe we should have a side fight called "Sugar Skulls" that's a sequel to "Sugar Shaker" where everybody has to make a Halloween dance song a la "Monster Mash" too.

Hmmm I like this title, if I can come up with something that's not about Mexican zombies or James Bond ... Then again, what more could one want from life?

I was going to say, hey I don't the words to be *that* grim ... but Niveous words are always good. Might take you up on that!

Niveous gave me some great lyrics and I have done a basic scratch recording of them but I need to spend some time tomorrow actually recording the song. Fortunately I have no other obligations tomorrow.

I've submitted. My attempt at Bossa Nova.

I'm also in, with a song that is neither bossa nova-esque or with lyric by Niv. I am also unsure of the mix, due to technical problems. It's probably horrendously bassy - or alternatively, massively tinny. We shall see - exciting!

Ok, submitted. Looks like it's my first solo entry since... Feb of 2012. I guess all these young kids will have no idea who I am.
I had no idea it had been that long!

I'm in. With a Niveous song.
Sort of reminded me of someone. So, instead of watching Mad Max and her moving to Paris as Niv wrote, we watched "Withnail and I" and she moved to Adelaide. Not a goth, but she did like The Saints and knew how to roll a J however. And dammit, she was cool.

J. Biveous is in with an old school rocker. Please explore the upper limits of your volume control when you play this song.

Re: Canciones del Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead prefig
So who submitted under an alternate band name and who just did "normalname ft. Niveous" and who just did their own name? This is gonna be a glorious mess.jb wrote:J. Biveous is in with an old school rocker. Please explore the upper limits of your volume control when you play this song.
JB
I thought about submitting as "Nockpuppet" or "Sockeous" or something but I just did "Sockpuppet ft. Niveous" but now I'm regretting that.

Re: Canciones del Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead prefig
I submitted as Lunkhead. I put "Lyrics by Niveous, music by Lunkhead" in the "Composer" ID3 tag.
Should I make an executive decision about normalizing how things are presented, when handling the song intake and posting the fight...?
Also, FYI, if you haven't gotten your song in already do it soon as I'm hoping to get them posted sooner rather than later.

Lunkhead, if I wanted to submit an updated mix right now, should I just send a second email formatted exactly as the first one was?
