Fat Man

Fat Man's

Late Friday afternoon – sun going down
hundred thousand crawlin' their way out of town
Soon the open road – there's something in the air
called her up and said 'meet me halfway there'

Chorus
Goin' to Fat Man's – on the edge of the sea
feel the waves crashin' right next to me
hear the jazz man lay it on the line
down at Fat Man's you can forget time.

Feel the top down – world all around
roll in step inside – throw your troubles to the ground
dark stain wood grain walls and her next to me
all she does is smile – it comes together perfectly

Chorus

Bridge

Swing it baby don't you dare to dance away
Just take my hand and let us rock away

She's my love child – I don't know how long
This could really go – if she's around

Fat Man - Paco del Stinko

Hey fat man, walkin' down the street
Wigglin' your sausage fingers into your greasy treat
How do you do, all the things we do
Do you deny the rumors or are they all true
I'm only askin', ain't tryin' to be mean
But you're the biggest fat man that I done ever seen

Leave me alone - I'm just big boned
Please don't bother me or melt my icecream cone
Don't you know that I'm the same as you

Yo yo yo, where do you hide your junk
There's no dent in your hood it must be in the trunk
Whoa there guy, don't get all riled up
Don't spill your Dr. Pepper from your quart sized cup

Leave me alone - I'm just big boned
Please don't bother me or melt my icecream cone
Don't you know that I'm the same as you

If I see a donut
I can't say no
And when I eat it
I bask in the afterglow

So big fella, I really feel your pain
You are all caboose while I'm a bullet train
But don't you worry, the sunshine will burn through
Once upon a time I was just like you

Leave me alone - I'm just big boned
Please don't bother me or melt my icecream cone
Don't you know that I am the same as you
Bringin' the stink since 2006.

FAT MAN

Honey I’m home.

Make way for the fat man
Every girl’s delight
Every girl knows a man with meat on his bones is gonna a rock his lil’ baby all night
I may not look it
But I’m light on my feet
Every woman knows you can’t trust a man who don’t like to sit down and eat

Make way for the fat man
Make way
Here I come
"We're not building airplanes here."

Fat Man - Pigfarmer Jr

Here comes that fat man on his way home
Always walking, always alone
With disheveled hair and unkempt clothes
For reasons on seasons that nobody knows

And when he walks by it is always the same
All the kids laughing and calling him names

Oh, I'm sorry
For what they do to you
Yes, I'm sorry
For what they do to you

Now I am older and I've seen him for years
And in all that time I've never seen his tears
And the kids that call him names right now
Remind me of myself, somehow

And when he walks by it is always the same
All the kids laughing and calling him names

Oh, I'm sorry
For what they do to you
Yes, I'm sorry
For what they do to you

Now the news has traveled all around town
Talking about the fat man they had found
Down by the train tracks it's a bloody sight
He saw his last train in the middle of the night

And starting tomorrow it can't be the same
The kids won't have anyone to call those sad names

Oh, I'm sorry
For what we did to you
Yes, I'm sorry
For what we did to you
Oh, I'm sorry
For what I did to you

Fat Man
by Naked Philosophy

Everybody's empty
Feelin' kinda sick
Changes comin' down the road
No one thinks it'll do the trick

And the fat man's getting fatter
While the thin man wastes away
No! No! Nothing's different
Somebody's got to pay

Here's our legacy
It's too late to act
As it crumbles to the ground
They still contradict the facts

And the fat man's getting fatter
While the thin man wastes away
No! No! Nothing's different
Somebody's got to pay

Pay to fix the mess they've made
Pay to end the games they've played
Pay to bend the tracks they've laid
But no one will make them do it...

And the fat man's getting fatter
While the thin man wastes away
No! No! Nothing's different
Somebody's got to pay
Somebody's got to pay
Somebody's got to pay

Nobody, et al.
Fat Man

Little boy
They told me of your smashing success
Like death's own angel in the morning

You were full of joy.
I was frightened when they told me I was next
Pulled from the darkness without warning.

I remember when we traveled in the States
Those miles of rails through the desert wastes
Now you're gone and I must follow

Now I'm just a fat man
In a box car
Round and round I go
Where it ends nobody knows
Spinning out of control
But it's got to stop somewhere

Into the light
I'll follow in the footsteps you have made
I won't blink until it's done

It isn't right
I know that we were dealt the hand we played
And that we never could have won

Remember when we traveled across the sea
You were there right next to me
Very soon we'll be together.

The fire of a thousand suns
The splendor of the mighty one
But after all that fire
It's so cold

An entire city is no more
A cloud of dust, a dragon's roar
When everything falls silent
Nothing moves
I can't hear you
What would you do?

Now I am a fat man
In a box car
Call comes to attack
Plunge into the black
Too late to take it back
This has got to stop somewhere

Now I am an angel
Now I am a horseman
I am floating free
Raindrops hanging next to me
And now everyone will see
This has got to stop somewhere.

Fat Man by Johnny Cashpoint
Inspired by the Lighter Life diet. For, but not directly about, my friend Bill who decided to do it.

Hey there fat man on a diet, you’re on the verge of winning -
Well at least you’re losing weight - where your hair is thinning
No more wearing baggy suits to hide your excess baggage
Welcome healthy eating – as it turns your brain to cabbage

Can you still remember why you signed up for this madness?
Supervised starvation’s no solution to your sadness - Five
Hundred calories per day won’t drive your misery away; the
Double-vision makes you think you’re massive anyway …

Hey there fat man on a diet, you don’t seem to be smiling
See this giant pile of cakes? Go right ahead and pile in, cos
Keep on losing weight and you’ll resemble the grim reaper -
That may be a lesson that your body’s trying to teach ya

Given your dysmorphia, I don’t find it surprising that
A shake could make you glad if it means less self for despising
And one thing for the Lighter Life - there’s truth in advertising, cos
Life will be one lighter once your body gives up fighting
For good.

G.U.N.S.
Lyrics by Niveous

He sleeps soundly
Mattress lined with bills
Not a worry in the world
At the mansion on the hill

And the fat get fatter
 Living high on the dime
while the working man
starves under the poverty line

From the hand of the father
Never had to work a day
Never had to go without
Or be a slave to the wage

And the fat get fatter
Living high on the dime
while the working man
starves under the poverty line

It all comes so easy
when the ends always meet
Never had to pound the pavement
or live on the street
He lives the kind of life
That you can only dream
Holding on tight to his wealth
No room for charity

And the fat get fatter
Living high on the dime
while the working man
starves under the poverty line

Doesn't cherish what he has
 'cuz its all commonplace
would die on the spot
If he had to run the rat race

And the fat get fatter
Living high on the dime
while the working man
starves under the poverty line

Note to listeners: this song is only marginally about Blue and his new/old car.
The majority is the story of the accidental inhalation of a sharp piece of toast.

Fat Man
I smelled action but the gas was turned off. I heard tires where there wasn't a road. Call a mechanic get him here quick, call a mechanic, all the engines are sick.
I learned a fable but it doesn't end well. Recite it a lot while I go hunting for constant color parity, really massive ground.
Vixens under hope clouds, let's just footnote everything.
I learned a fable but it doesn't end well. We got echos, cracked and involuntary, gifts to other throats.
