New music from Carol Cleveland Sings

Post by jb »

Song Fighter going way back, this guy used to perform with The Spinto Band -- which actually used several of his fight entries on their first album. Now he's putting out music as his Song Fight name-- Carol Cleveland Sings --and has produced a pretty great video to promote it. Give a listen/watch!

Congrats Thomas!

Yeah, that is super awesome! He and his girlfriend are also doing some cool Vines music/video loops too:

I met him during Jonathan Mann's song-a-day album recording thing a few years ago, he's a super nice guy.

Much enjoyed, dig the video, but especially the vines, very creative. Makes me want to make some myself.

There needs to be more music videos from Songfighters. Can that be a thing?

Derp, yeah, I should have been more specific, available now as a digital download on Bandcamp. Did you get the vinyl or cassette Paco? We have no way to play cassettes and I admit I'm not very big on buying and listening to vinyl yet...

I got the vinyl. I got rid of all but a crate of favorite LPs several years ago after cooking my collection to MP3, so purchasing new vinyl is very uncommon for me. Came with a digital download ticket too.

My heart quickens. Thank you for sharing and saying such kind words. Songfight was such a huge part of my life at one point and I created some of my favorite things when "fighting" with you folks. It's such a supportive and creative family I keep telling myself I need to get back into songfighting because of the warm memories I have, like staying up until 3 in the morning finishing a song because I knew there was a wonderful group of musical weirdos doing the exact same thing. I miss it and miss you. Thanks again <3 <3 <3
