I'm going to check out this album "Love In The Wind" by The Sha La Das, it's some retro surf/soul stuff with a bunch of the Dap Kings/Dap Tone records musicians in the backing band.

I'm putting that Metric album in my queue too.

Apparently Voivod has a new album out today too, "The Wake", I may check that out to get a little metal fix.

I'm enjoying the new Metric album. Seems pretty true to form for them but I'm totally OK with that. I like this style and I don't feel like I hear it a lot from other bands.

Maybe the new Sha La Das record was too mellow for me this morning, but I'm not feeling it. I am howerver enjoying the new Slash album with Myles Kennedy on vocals. Some of the lyrics are dumb, but overall, the album is a fun listen.

Just listened to Van William - Countries and really liked it. Van was the leader of Port O'Brien and this is a solo album by him. Very enjoyable listen.
