OK - I listened. The band is pretty good. Very good really.
Just don't match the name sadly. I was picturing young Japanese robot girls in school uniforms. But then again - I picture that when I listen to most things....

I am a long time fan of Bob Mould. His new album "Silver Age" is deadly. It's amazing how at the age of 51 he can still throw down power-pop with the rage of an adolescent and the melodic mastery of a Beatle, check out "The Descent" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MdhsCeasBQ

New Coheed and Cambria album The Afterman: Ascension. It's a return to their In Keeping Secrets & Good Apollo days which to me is a great thing... as I haven't cared for their last two albums No World For Tomorrow & Year Of The Black Rainbow. I really like it.

"Trapped In A Constable" by Scott Edgar And The Universe is a pretty cool song. You can listen to it on MySpace if you're so inclined.

^ Pretty good jast. I saved it to listed to more later.
I've been listening to Alt-J of late for my mellow out music. Some think they are a bit boring, but they are good and like to use subtle instrument sounds in their arrangements, which is always pleasant by me.

Yeah, I've been diggin' on them for the past few weeks. Like I said, very tranquil, but when I'm in that zone, they fill the niche.
This vid of theirs is trippy.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
wonder where that was filmed? I Have never been anywhere their were no trees. Like the way the drummer does the studder thang, and he saved a lot of money on cymbals, he dosent need them. Enjoyed that (not gonna blow them or anything, but enjoyed).

Re: What are you listening to right now?
I've been really addicted to this song. These guys have been coming up for a bit in the metal/hardcore community, but I always wrote them off for some reason. This song and video are awesome, though!

Steve Martin and Edie Brickell released an album today. If you like sweet banjo pickin' and sweet vocals. Check it out.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
Two of my favorite people. But I never in a million years would have expected this. When I heard Steve in an interview I thought he was joking. They will be on Saturday Night live this coming Sat. 04/27/13ken wrote:Steve Martin and Edie Brickell released an album today. If you like sweet banjo pickin' and sweet vocals. Check it out.
I've only heard one song and it's superb! EB's voice is so good in this project!
This is a nice little trailer. Love it.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
My god, there's a new album by a sort of underground metal supergroup Vhol that is dominating my mind right now. Members of Ludicra/Hammers of Misfortune, YOB, and others doing super melodic thrashy psychedelic cosmos metal. John Cobbett is one of the gnarliest guitarists ever.
