This album is just wonderful beyond wonderful. Spectacularly melodic and wonderful harmonies all on top of a healthy helping of dirt and fuzz. And there's a great sense of humour that peaks out occassionally to great effect. And this was recorded in 1968.
Incidentally, there's a song on here (Big Sky) that reminds me of JB's voice and songwriting style, especially this part:
"One day we'll be free, we won't care, just you see
'Til that day can be, don't let it get you down
When I feel that the world is too much for me
I think of the Big Sky, and nothing matters much to me."
