I missed this thread before. Just listened to a few songs now. I dunno... I tried to "listen around" the patches, and I thought it sounded lifeless and dry even then, at least in some parts (while some others seemed to have an overly dense arrangement). I found the arrangements illuminating in other ways, though.

(In any case, things might be different with a real orchestra. I find it hard to tell. I would try re-recording the songs with my patches (which are a bit better than that) but I can't really be bothered.)
