Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

Post by Billy's Little Trip »

Why do I love these completely stupid satirical movies? Maybe because I can relate to all the references. It's a mash up of Walk the line and Ray, along with a few others. There is a segment with Dewey Cox sitting around with the Beatles. Jack Black was Paul McCartney, Paul Rudd was John Lennon, Justin Long was George Harrison, and the funniest one is Jason Schwartzman playing Ringo Starr. It brought me to tears.
If you choose not to watch this movie, try and find the Beatles part on youtube. I'm sure someone will post it. It's a must see.

Ha, they have a bunch of the funny parts on youtube already. This movie is packed with good actors and musicians. Here are a couple of the ones that cracked me up.

Possible Spoiler, but not too much.

Jack White as Elvis

The Beatles Unfortunately they cut it short and cut out John calling Paul a fat cunt, lol.

Tim Meadows trying to talk Dewey out of doing the marijuana (Ray spoof)

this was pretty funny... quite a few laugh out loud moments... however after watching it i realized i watched the theatrical version, and not the uncut extended super duper fancy pants on fire version... so now I have to wait a few days and watch it again!?! ;)
