If seven of you ponied up 15 seconds each, we could fit our Skyline on this thing.

Sorry to be such a lamer. I am usually the first to jump on stuff like this, but time and money have been a little short lately. Next time for sure. In fact, why stop collecting, blue? If there is interest, let's get two going!

Or a double CD -- might even be cheaper than 2 seperate ones

i've heard that double cds are inordinately hard/expensive to get manufactured and are not worth the trouble.
that was only one guy's opinion, though, so o ahead and get a second one if you wish.

Hey Johnny, between the two of us, do we have fifteen seconds for spud?

P.S. I won't be able to rework anything due to MY FUCKING CABLES BEING STOLEN.

That is all.

I started re-recording - the song will be under 2 minutes - c.1:57 ish I think, so depending on how long your 'Violet' is, the difference is yours to do with what you want, of course :)

In that case we have about forty seconds for "Skyline." Who else is willing to be generous?

By the way, Johnny, "Mumbo Jumbo" was definitely nearly a minute longer than "Violet," so your earlier whining was a bit misplaced, I'd think.

What whining? Saying thanks very much? Or saying I'll make sure my song is under two minutes to best allow octothorpe the space you wanted to give them?

Hey if you think I've been whining, you can have the whole two minutes back :P

Johnny, perhaps a little relaxation would do you some good. I was no more serious when I said that than you were when you said "Err, thanks, man! for the thought anyway even if a) your violet is longer...". Friendly little tongue in cheek correction.

Come on, it's Octothorpe, people! We can't spare fractions of minutes for Octothorpe?!

Hello again,

I am submitting what I SWEAR is my final song submission selection. I've made a change for a couple reasons; one, I have no time to re-record, so I switched in a better-sounding piece, and two, I wanted to condense my time a bit in order to help those who need it.

Silent Pipe (2:35)
Big Disco (2:41)

By my count, that's 5:16. My remaining time can go toward Octothorpe.
I've dropped both of these songs into the songhole; if for some reason they didn't make it, let me know and I'll re-submit. Thanks for your patience, and I can't wait for the CDs.

Love,
Jim

This is a note to myself:

For when I am not at work (like I am now)

Hey there Glenn!

How was work? What have you been up to lately? Recording any new music?

I just thought I would remind you to get an unmastered wav of Abbott Presley's "Bullseye Girl" to Blue for the songfight mix CD.

Take care, and keep in touch!

ROCK!

Boy, this dropped right off the face of the Earth...

What's the status on this? I've got some shows coming up, and I'd love to have CDs on hand.

Fuckity fuck fuck. Late again.

Blimey, It's lucky that Jim bumped this. I had almost forgotten.
my two are:
Cold Sweat (Kamakura) 2.36 and Twelve Monkeys (Kapitano + Kamakura) at 2.58. That's a total of 5.34. Give the remaining time to whoever you want.

Apologies to all for my frightful tardiness.

If by any chance I've missed the boat, then c'est la vie.

Kamakura, I think we have to upload them to Blue's web page (see the 1st post).

I don't feel quite so guilty now I'm not the only one!

... So I waved bye bye, and sent the little darlings on their merry way through the 'song hole'. I only wish I'd got my act together to remix 'em.

I uploaded mine a few weeks ago.

I think it went through OK, but maybe a current list of received/missing tracks would help push this along.

Don't know a thing, Kama.

Anyone seen Blue lately? His last post was Oct. 20...

If there's anything I can do to facilitate this process, let me know, I'm happy to help out.
