The Riches
I just saw the first 2 season 1 episodes of this for the first time. I was intrigued from the get-go, and am now downloading the first season. Anyone else like this show?

Re: The Riches
I'll give you a basic synopsis:
A family of "Irish Travellers" (American gypsies) witness the car accident deaths of, and then assume the identities of, a rich couple who just bought a mansion in a gated community in the deep south. They go from being common criminals to the upper echelon of society. That's all I know for now, I'm waiting for the rest of the eps to download
Quality program so far, though.

Re: The Riches
I watched a few episodes and I really enjoyed it, but I kept missing episodes. So now I've gotta get it on DVD and play catch up.

Re: The Riches
How did we get this far into a The Riches thread without even mentioning Eddie Izzard? He's great in this.
I saw the first ten or so episodes of season 1, and really liked it, but then found myself not missing it much when I got behind. I guess it's just a mood thing. I'll probably backtrack a little bit later and then get caught up.

Re: The Riches
I think I got to ep6 of season 2 and lost interest. When you're starting with a huge suspension of disbelief plot, you can only get more ridiculous, and that's what was starting to happen. I find it went from an original, witty idea to standard-issue TV crap. I might catch up eventually, but not sure at this point.
