Introducing myself...

Post by kylehurley »

hello everyone I'm Kyle.
I'm 17 years old and from wallingford, CT.
I hope to gain a little exposure and contribute to this wonderful website. I've listened to a lot of material on here and it is very good. SO, I guess I just wanted to say Hi.

Yes, hello.

I have an unattractive tendency towards tearing people a new one for starting a self-serving thread, but this one is disarmingly charming in its simplicity. :)

I assume (from your sig and that this is the collaborations thread) you're a singer looking for musicians? I look forward to hearing what ya bring to SF. Welcomino.

well yes, I sing. I didn't come to this thread looking to collaborate exactly(I didn't see a thread where I could introduce myself so I just picked this). However, I do sing/play guitar and would be interested in collaborating with anyone who wants to.

I play all kinds of music so I really don't know what to categorize it as. I like bands/artists such as Flaming Lips, Neutral Milk Hotel, Pixies, John Coltrane, Aesop Rock, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Elliott Smith, Sebadoh, Outkast, Postal Service... I like a little bit of everything.

Yo there. I'd be up for doing whatever form of collaboration. I haven't done a huge amount of Songfight lately, so would be good to get back into the swing of things.

Hello and welcome.
so . . . when was the last time you backed up?

Hi Kyle

Welcome to the wonderful world of Songfighting.....
Oh yea everyone seems friendly enough now, but just wait till they get in the ring....Evil the lot of em..Dirty..gotta watch your back y'know sometimes they gang up together. Then what chance have ya got. Talented artistic supergroup bastards...they call it a 'collaboration'....I call it ganging up on the Me$$iah thats wat I call it. Any way let not my ramblings go on much longer and heed not anything I say.

-Me$$iah

p.s.
awsome Idea this intros thread....when I first found this place I just kinda lurked for a while not knowing where or what to post, until id at least got a tune in....and then my first tune got disqualified (I think)....Aaarghh another week, and then my first song just wasnt as good as it couldve been..but still its all good, I aint had a song DQed since (not that Ive entered many hehe)....livenlearn tho thats wat I say

No, you're the first. That saying wasn't invented until after this thread was invented. :P
