Re: The 6th Annual Gift of Music
last night I went from not-at-all-done to almost-done-and-cor-blimey-am-I-happy-with-the-outcome in the course of three hours. Industrious! The deadline will hopefully allow me time to re-record the vocal, which will be a boon. For anyone listening to it.

Re: The 6th Annual Gift of Music
Rarely have I been so impatient for a fight to get posted as I am for this one. I want to find out if I got stiffed or not, because frankly the idea of the Stiffee's charity band covering the songs I picked would be the awesome.

Re: The 6th Annual Gift of Music
Did some mixing at lunchtime today. I'll listen to the results again tonight, but I think it's ready to send in. I had to jump through some hoops to get this one done. I'm very happy to be on time with it.

Re: The 6th Annual Gift of Music
HOLY CRAP I haven't even started my song yet. I haven't even learned to play it yet.... life got WAY TOO BUSY too quick. Stay in your 20's young'ens.... responsiblity really fucks with internet commitments...lol.
But seriously, I'll be late. I wont' even get to TOUCH it until next week, but it will happen, my list of songs was too cool to ignore!!!
I may not be around much, but Songfight still rocks, and my recipient shall get their song!!!

Re: The 6th Annual Gift of Music
Submitted both Rachael's entry and my own mere moments ago.
Nothing like thinking I had another week or so, and waiting 'til the last minute (as usual.)
Happy with how both turned out, 'though. Hopefully our giftees will dig what we did.
ROCK!

I'm hoping that's anytime on the 12th as it was for the 10th. I'm not sending mine off until late morning on the 12th. I made some changes and can't mix them until tomorrow morning.Niveous wrote:Upon further thought:

Re: The 6th Annual Gift of Music
I'm sorry, but I will not make the deadline and honestly have no idea when I can even do this. Perhaps I should just declare myself a "stiffer" and send my list to Blue and the gang. I'll wait a week or so and see if I can get it done. Sorry again.

Re: The 6th Annual Gift of Music
I am getting this in, I am just gonna be a day late.... damn me.
Seriously tho, a few 'scheduling' issues have affected my finishing, but I am gonna be getting this in.
Sorry to my giftee, tho I promise its on its way
