It unfolds and is quite comfortable. Marcus Kellis can vouch for that, if he ever shows up here again.
Oh, and I'm close to BART (walking distance), making it a pretty easy transit from the airport, too.
Thanks! I'll take that couch. I will do what I can to get a flight secured. I'll confirm soon hopefully.
I just can't afford it. After looking at plane tickets...even a free stay is out of my range. It might have been possible but another thing went wrong with my car (radiator is leaking bad) and I have a little pressing debt. (Not that it's a deciding factor, but I also have family coming in town on that exact weekend to top it off.)
I'm hoping for a windfall or something that will make it possible, but for now I have to give up my position on the couch.
This will be the first SONGFIGHT! LIVE I miss since...well, since the last time it was in San Fransisco.
Somewhere in one of these threads I posted that I had a preference for playing on the electric night. However, if the lineups have not been finalized yet, I'd like to change that preference to playing at the acoustic gig.

Anybody else who wants to play for less than a half an hour (or more, for that matter), please post here so that we can re-shuffle the schedule accordingly.

I probably don't need a full half-hour. I haven't timed my set yet, but I think it's probably closer to 20 minutes. I'll get back to you when I get back from work.

I can't entirely speak for the Bourbon Drops, but we only have four songs, totaling 12 minutes of music, so I would guess our set would be <20 minutes.
What is this, new math? We have a band not on the schedule that wants about 20 minutes, and Jon says he will give up 10. That still puts us 10 minutes over. Obviously, not a real problem, because I have built plenty of fluff (no pun intended) into the schedule, but no, you do not need to stretch your set to make up for the current 10 minutes of overage.
The Seamus Collective would also like to play on Sunday.

Sorry if you thought "schedule under discussion" meant that there was a Friday show. I was waiting for someone to plan a Friday side activity, and now fluffy has.
You want half an hour from me? You get half an hour from me. I can drop songs if needed if we're running long. The only thing I cannot promise is that I'll be entertaining for that entire half hour. Whether or not I have a backing band will largely determine this.
