Dear whomever gave me that title,
You gave me a kooky title with all sorts of implacations. You know you did. What you are getting in return is the same. A kooky song with all sorts of implacations.

Mine's done.
By the way, before the title donors are revealed, I'm just going to go on record and say I'm 99% sure that Chris (BLT) came up with my title. So, uh, thank you for that. I think it came out really well.

Cool! As you probably noticed, I've stuck with my theme for the Circle of Titles events. I'm glad you got it, because you like celestial topics, lol.Generic wrote:Mine's done.

I hope I got yours, because I finished this one. But who ever I got, I finally did something in it I've been aching to do for some time. It's like there is nothing new anymore. No new words, music is all the same, bla bla bla. So I made up non words in my bridge that only exist now because I made them. Nivious inspired it. He posted about an Indian style of music called Konnakol. I watched a couple videos and thought COOL! (sorry I didn't post in your thread, Niv. I got sidetracked watching Konnakol vids and forgot, lol)
I didn't do it in the traditional fashion, but instead did something similar to the Indian guy in the video did that stuck in my head, even though I was going off memory. So yeah, it's something new and "progressive" (Dee's words, but they sound grande, so I'll use them) for me, even though it's my interpretation BLT style.

Re: Circle of Titles III
Celestial? Maybe I called it wrong.
But then again, "Bourbon and Boobs" wasn't exactly celestial either.
And by the way, you did get my title... last time. And never finished it.

Come to think of it, I did give Mike 4 titles because I wasn't sure if we were doing multiple titles or not. He said he used the first one I thought. But he may have used a different one.Generic wrote:Celestial? Maybe I called it wrong.

Well you got a little cut on your palm and had surgery on it instead of putting dung on it like I suggested.Generic wrote:And by the way, you did get my title... last time. And never finished it.
....but I owe you one. And at this point, any average song will seem anticlimactic. Which makes it harder the longer I wait. I need to do something amazing. I don't think I can. Thus...

Jon, I like your humorous songs so much better than your serious ones. I mean, even if it is a serious song, I like your humorous delivery, like the avocado song. Yes, your avocado song was about a serious segment of your life, but you getting angry in song cracked me up.
Anyway, I like "I like it both ways". But yeah, not one of my titles, lol.

Oh, dang it. I just realized that the deadline was today and not yesterday. Meaning I jumped the gun. Sorry about that, Mike.
I'm very surprised that the title didn't come from you. I suppose my fallback guess is Caravan Ray... Anyway, whoever supplied it, thanks for the unlikely inspiration!
Thank you for the compliments! I assume you'll be doing full reviews at some point, so I won't press for more detail (yet).Billy's Little Trip wrote:Haha, no! But I liked it!Generic wrote:Chris, was "I Like It Both Ways" one of the titles you submitted?

Re: Circle of Titles III
i don't currently have a place to post my song up BUT if the person who requested the title "27 Moons (and one thing on my mind...)" wants to hear what I did for that title, they can drop me an e-mail and I'll forward it to them.

I'll wait. I like to see and hear the songs as a group. That way we can all marvel at our accomplishments together as a group. Much better in my opinion than the scattered bits.

Re: Circle of Titles III
I knew it!
After you hear the song, BLT, if you want to remix it, feel free. The song was built for a lot of guitar wankery but that didn't happen (not for lack of trying). Instead, there's just the usual 50 shades of weird that I bring to the table.

Well you know me. Anything less than 45 shades of weird is a let down. 50 shades is like Christmas.Niveous wrote:I knew it!
