I haven't even seen my card yet. I'm just hoping Spud didn't make my special power Enchanted Bunny.

BLT's special power: It's in his pants.
So, I've been thinking of adding a card for myself, but as of those of you have met me more than once knows, finding an appropriate image is difficult due to my changing appearance. Here are some options. Any thoughts?
Also, that one over there in the board avatar... call it number 8.

When I first came here you had a Mr. Potato Head one. I liked that one a lot. While these are all classic, number 8 gives you the rebel outlaw look or the Dude from Big Lebowski.
Bringin' the stink since 2006.

Re: Songfight: The Rockening
Just found out about this awesome of awesomes idea from roymond / Roymond facebook.
I would like to be added, don’t mind if is in the 2nd edition, in no rush.
I’ll come up with something later this week.
Also what about having a limited edition “Blue” card, with the original NEVEDA! Picture, which overtrumps any other card?
Or something one off like that with lots of playing power.
oh yeah, we can also start a cards trading thread, to get rid of duplicates.

8-way lenticular card! It's the special-edition bonus card that's the rarest of them all.Spud wrote:BLT's special power: It's in his pants.

Or maybe do a Brady Bunch grid, with the Mr. Potato Head in the middle.

Re: Songfight: The Rockening
Spud #1 looks exactly like the Spud that sang lead vocals on our Rattlesnake collaboration.
But Spud #4 is the Spud that is the lead vocalist of the Rattlesnake. He's insanely Hollywood and is also a WWF wrestler that's always in the news for tearing apart hotel rooms and punching out the paparazzi. All of the rag mags want his interview....well, except SPIN because of a previous "incidence".

Re: Songfight: The Rockening
That fight count on mine is still wrong, if the card is supposed to track me as an artist instead of my "band." I've entered at least 60 times as a soloist.Spud wrote:Here you go, Billy, you can check out your card at: http://www.songfight.org/rockening

Hate to be a bother. On my card, it says "Sunnyside, New Jersey" and I live in "Sunnyside, New York".

Is it the "at least" that was a problem? Here's a more precise count as of right now, only counting actual submissions on the main site, and ignoring my especially-immature troll entries:fluffy wrote:Name: fluffy
Location: Seattle, WA
Description: (the thing about sockpuppets)
Superpower: cat herding
First entry: 1/29/01 (or is it 1/19/01? I'm not sure which one is the canonical one for this purpose)
Entry count (solo): at least 60
Wins: still just 2
fluffy porcupine - 26
Entropic Pincushion - 1
Pringle Can - 3
fluffy - 2
<3 - 2
Sockpuppet - 23
So<kpupp3t - 1
Not counting my out-and-out trolling ones (goatfucker, curvewrecker, etc.), that makes 58. So let's go with 58 on the card.

I'm happy.Spud wrote: I don't want you to be unhappy.
It says 1 win on my card, and although I know that is referring to "Prayer for Pankakes" - which I have never accepted as a proper win, I did win a fight properly last year under another name - so I feel like some sort of karmic justice has been achieved.
So, I am happy....about this anyway, I have a whole raft of other non-playing card related problems, but they are pretty much between me and my therapist.

I didn't mention any problems with the other data. Still 2 wins, and that is the correct date.Spud wrote:how many wins? date of first fight (01/29/01?)? I don't want you to be unhappy.fluffy wrote:...let's go with 58 on the card.

OK: http://www.songfight.org/rockening
fluffy's data updated.
Niveous - problem was only on the web, the actual card is OK. Web fixed.
Andre was here at midnight added.
Index card updated.
The index card on the web is not the same as in the decks. The one in the decks has numbers and complete names. Web may be truncated for space, i.e. John Benjamin Band in place of The John Benjamin Band, etc. Well actually, that's the only one right now.
Oh, don't try to submit using the web yet, even if you see the form. Not yet implemented. I will let you know.

Re: Songfight: The Rockening
The first pack I ordered finally arrived... and I have to wonder what randomization strategy they're using, since in the one pack I got two Niveouses (Nivei?) and THREE Klownholes. What the heck?
Oh well, at least those are the valuable first-edition misprints.
