Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

I was wondering when you'd get to The King.

For me, probably "Burning Love." It's close with one or two others, which I'll mention later if no one else gets to them.

I'd have to say my favorite Elvis hit was his very last one.........the bathroom floor. :P

But seriously folks, my favorite Elvis song is probably Watching the Detectives with a close second being Alison.

I like all the Elvis songs on the soundtrack from Lilo & Stitch.
I think my favorite is "Suspicious Minds" but also "Heartbreak Hotel". Too bad my cover of that didn't turn out well.

Are we counting anything Elvis performed, or just ones that were composed by or for him? Because the second category is much, much smaller. Most of his songs were covers.

Heck, "Love Me Tender" only had new words for him - the composition was a Civil War song. (Yay Wikipedia!)
The song is credited to Presley and Vera Matson because of the publishing agreement reached for the assignment of royalties (Presley had songwriting input on only a very small number of the many songs he recorded). The principal writer of the lyrics was Ken Darby (Matson's husband). The song was published by Elvis Presley Music.[1] Darby also adapted the Civil War tune, which was in the public domain. When asked why he credited his wife as co-songwriter along with Presley, Darby responded, "Because she didn't write it either."
Of the songs that were composed specifically for Elvis Presley (which is still an incredibly tiny category), I'd have to say "All Shook Up."

This goes back deep into my childhood, so, with no insight and only basic imprinting to guide me, I'll say "Return to Sender" and "In the Ghetto".

"Suspicious Minds" is a favorite at karaoke for me :-) I like Elvis a lot, but I'm not exactly an Elvis fan.

I'm pretty sure anything he ever performed is fair game. Another of the ones I had in mind was a cover of a medley arrangement of three other covers:
