Shameless "self" promotion. Watch a short video ad and stream for free on Web/mobile on Pandora! :)

I'm checking those out. I'm not sure I'm developing into much of a Dirty Projectors fan tbh. I listened to that album they did with Bjork that Glen mentioned. I didn't love it. I'm listening to this new one. Not sure it's doing a ton for me. They're playing three nights at the Starline Social Club: https://www.facebook.com/events/431530597329247/

So far of those three I'm liking the Rayland Baxter best. Don't forget about Rick Astley's new album! :P

There are a ton of new releases today apparently:

Rayland Baxter is playing in town, too, at some SF venue I've never heard of called "August Hall" on 9/22.

I really enjoyed his album.

EDIT: Ah, the venue was formerly Ruby Skye, sounds like it went through an ownership change and big overhaul.

Just started listening to Deafheaven - Ordinary Corrupt Human Love... I haven't heard any of their other albums before... so I don't know if this is a "new" direction or not... but from what I thought I knew about them, this isn't what I was expecting... very weird hearing the black metal vocals over... pretty "happy" sounding indie music...

On a more black metal note however... last week (7/6/18) Immortal's 9th studio album was released... their first in 9 years and first without founding frontman Abbath, and it's pretty rad. Looking forward to next week's release from Skeletonwitch, Devouring Radiant Light.

My band, Ménage À Garage, released an EP this week.

On it you will find 5 songs, including a new version of a song from my Album Fight from way back when ("Air Traffic") and a new version of a song from Nur Ein 3 ("Sleepwalking").
