We tried listening to the Low album. Erin was physically revulsed by it. It may have had to do with her having a cold. But it may also have been due to the intense low distorted glitchy very low frequency content of most of the songs we played. We couldn't get through a single song, lol. I'm kind of scared to listen to it on headphones.

The Low album wasn't what I was expecting at all. I'm not really familiar with all of their catalog, but it seemed out of character for them.

Yep, it seemed in keeping with their vibe on a very broad level but taking some of the elements of past stuff and focusing on them, and maybe those elements weren't necessarily my personal favorite things about their music...

Not familiar with the band Low, but perhaps you can listen to the Bowie album of the same name for some awesome sonic goodness instead! I haven't listened to any new albums since... May? June? Too busy trying to record all the ideas in my head...
