It would be nice if this was just an eloborate April Fool's day joke... but some how I doubt.

Sad, he was funny. I know, from ages ago, that their are some who feel otherwise, but I enjoyed his stuff.

Anyways, I went a saw this guy when he came through Tampa. He was awesome.

He was talking about getting another drink and my date sort of let out an audible groan as we had been told it was past last call. He heard her and asked about it..someone closer to the front explained the situation to him so he bought out the rest of the Jack Daniels (which was like three bottles) and poured everyone who wanted a drink. My date was first in line. It was an awesome night.

If this story is true...how sad. How very sad.

I should make a big online news report about how he's actually NOT dead, and that it was all an elaborate joke, and then I could point at everyone and say "April fools!" like a jackass. Or maybe not.

Sad to hear, though, always enjoyed his standup.
