Nur Ein XVII: The Feeling Out Process
Hey everyone,
This is the week where I start getting everything set for another year of Nur Ein.
So, who out there is interested in judging?
If I know my wife as well as I think I do, I think LWRG (or some version) will compete, so I won't be judging.
As for time frame, I'm basically waiting for SpinTunes to end.

Final Songs are due May 1 in SpinTunes, so just let me know when you want to start, and I'll create the Listening Party links.
The 'Cover Round' is on 5/8 with the Finals announcement, but that shouldn't stop people from writing songs that week.
LP could be as early at 5/15 on my end.

Erin and I were thinking it wasn't going to work for us due to some travel plans we have, but if it starts later than usual, like the second week of May, then we can do it and would probably give it a shot (as participants, not judges, to clarify).

I don’t want to judge.
(Hooray!! Says everyone)
But I will play. Because I have a great band name.
I have been playing Wordle. I have a always go to first word. And I have a second word if I get all greys. And together- awesome band name!! I just discovered that.
So - I will be the guy with the cool two five letter word band name.

I'll judge. I won't be able to do much else.

Re: Nur Ein XVII: The Feeling Out Process
I do recall there being some interest in an Original Flava sometime after Spintunes spun down, but Nur Ein would be alright. I may need a break from the more grueling competition-based songwriting schedule after Spintunes though.

Re: Nur Ein XVII: The Feeling Out Process
Tentatively, I'm looking at May 9th to July 6th for this year's contest. The day after Mother's Day as the starting point, just like last year. Mother's Day to Independence Day seems like the Nur Ein time slot.
I still need some judges.

Re: Nur Ein XVII: The Feeling Out Process
Sounds good. I'll tentatively schedule Listening Parties for Mondays starting May 16th through July 4th.
If anyone wants to start on some Artist ID's or fun drops for the LPs, I'm game to play them. Paco can't have all the fun.

I don't think I'll have much time to write in May but will definitely be able to listen and review, so I'm happy to put myself forward as a judge.

Re: Nur Ein XVII: The Feeling Out Process
Count me in for judging.
I am definitely too square for how experimental this is, but I can imagine that if I was in the right state of mind, the section starting at 2:20 might transport me to another dimension - jeffhenderson
