I Get Bad reviews

Berkeley Social Scene: The narrow, maybe slow is a better word, melody with the drawn out notes is interesting. I both like it and wonder if it's a bit samey after a while. I like the arrangement. Simple things from the drums to the bass line and the guitar solo all work well for me. This is a grower, I like it more the more I listen. It sounds like a solid but not featured track on a album.

Chrome Sandwich: Those stabs on the right side seem unbalanced and my ears hurt from a concert from last night so it's pretty jarring right now. I liked the guitar solo a lot, it sounds panned left a bit which is a nice counterbalance to the keys... or maybe I'm just happy there's something over there. Either way it was good.

The Freezing Hands: That's an interesting vocal performance, a kind of lackadaisical delivery... maybe it's meant to be more of a resignation. I like the doubling. I like the guitar line and the overall feel of the musical track. That very quiet vocal in the background is tasty. Not sure this sits well with me but it's fun to listen to the parts and see how you put it together.

Johnny Cashpoint: The intro is dark with an haunting feel. I couldn't help but smile at the direct approach in the lyric by the second line. The chorus is catchy and I found myself unable to sit still. That half note feel works marvelously for me.

The Pannacotta Army: I use the adjective 'smooth' entirely too much with your music but this has the right combination of groove and smooth. I'm digging it.

Pigfarmer Jr: Throw away garage rock but it was fun to do.

R. M.: Guy and Guitar takes usually get panned pretty consistently in these parts and I think it's hard to compete with the full production of BSS and Pannacotta but I like this well enough for what it is.

Votes to TPA, BSS and maybe J$.

The Pannacotta Army gets good, with a narrow win from a small voting pool.

Thanks for writing the only set of reviews, PFJr.
