SF:PA - Audio

Post by stueym »

Okay so it's fess up time.... Evan (Adjuster/Landfills) my man I made a private apology now the public one. Due to a hard disc freeze up right at the end of the Landfills set (during final chorus of Too Goth to Rock) cubase and the hard disk locked up. Accordingly I lost all of Evan's set, which is a crime. I wish I had some compensation i could offer other than a shoulder to cry on.

All the other audio is kinda noisy but only really noticeable during quiet passages and voice intro's. I have tried to denoise as much as I can without killing the dynamics and hopefully you will all be able to enjoy once I get the files to Bill for hosting. (coming soon)

Until then I leave you with this taster of one of the nights highlights.

During Luke Henley's set, we had a special guest appearance followed by the world debut of a haunting new song that enthralled the assembled throng.

Many thanks Luke and Jacob for delivering this awesome contribution to the lore of Songfight

Ladies and genetlemen I give you -

The Ballad of Rone Rivendale

nah you have a bit of noah on yours and noah has a bit of niveous on his so if anyone was an "attention whore" it was Niv ;-)!!

Seriously it all fit fine and I think most folks got out there what they wanted and needed to deliver. Everyone was just too tired come 10:45 to do much more.

Hey, just because I sang in Noah's set then did my own set then sang in Luke Henley's set and then did Gangsta's Paradise at the end......yeah, I guess I was a whore. Better living through musical slutdom.

Ok, I'm gonna plagiarize Stuey's post. Here are the mp3s from SF Presents PA 2006. Dunno if this is some sort of speed record for song posting after a live event, but here they are! If someone is knowledgable about bittorent it would be lovely if someone could set that up... I have no idea how it works.

Here is the provisional track listing for the Album "Songfight! Presents: Wayne PA"
Track Album Artist Set length File size
1 Songfight!: Wayne PA Bjam Intro 0:02:28 5,809 kb
2 Songfight!: Wayne PA Bjam - RS&C 0:18:49 44,131 kb
3 Songfight!: Wayne PA Brick Pig 0:12:41 29,738 kb
4 Songfight!: Wayne PA Heuristics Inc. 0:24:13 56,768 kb
5 Songfight!: Wayne PA Noah McLaughlin 0:14:47 34,676 kb
6 Songfight!: Wayne PA Niveous 0:19:52 46,583 kb
7 Songfight!: Wayne PA Luke Henley 0:16:51 39,524 kb
8 Songfight!: Wayne PA Feldspar 0:17:50 41,811 kb
9 Songfight!: Wayne PA Frankie Big Face 0:22:17 52,228 kb
10 Songfight!: Wayne PA Closing Set 0:12:35 29,505 kb
11 Songfight!: Wayne PA BONUS - Ballad of Rone Rivendale 0:05:31 12,963 kb

Enjoy!

If you post some video today you'll beat the old record by about three years. I'd say more but I'm too busy enjoying.

FYI this is some serious thread necromancy, but for reasons I was looking for those recordings and realized these links were wrong. So I fixed them. The files are still alive in case anybody wants to relive 2006.
